The obtained results of scientific developments were reported at the scientific conferences held in Poland (Przemysl, Lublin, Radom, Kielce), the Czech Republic (Prague), Hungary (Budapest), Bulgaria (Sofia, Varna), Great Britain, United Arab Emirates, Russia (Moscow).

The most significant research results for the mentioned period were published in 2 monographs of the publishing house "Oradea University Press" and 7 articles in the collections of scientific works of the series "Energy, energy conservation and rational nature management" at the University of Technology and Humanities  Kazimir Pulawski in Radom (Poland) and the Innovations in Corrosion and Materials Science (OAU) publishing house, which is being reviewed in the United States.

Currently, the department teaches foreign students for most training areas in English. Assistant professor Senenko N.B. received APTIS certification level C in English.

The staff of the department fulfilled the order of the administration regarding the signing of an agreement on cooperation with the Varna Open University named after the Chernorizets Khrabra (Varna, Bulgaria).

Under the  teachers team guidance talented students groups  with an additional comprehensive in-depth study of courses of discipline for the possibility of participation in educational international student mobility programs are formed. In 2016/2017 such a right of participation was won by students group 301 NT Golubyatnikov Denis Vladimirovich and Katigora Katerina Olegovna - active members of the scientific circle "Innovative Material Science" and constant participants of scientific events.

Golubyatnikov D.V. studied at the Harbin Engineering University in the specialty "Heat and power engineering" ("Teploenergetika") for a year, successfully completed the course and received a certificate.

Before his return to Ukraine Golubyatnikov D.V. passed a Chinese-language examination Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK 4), which results are recognized all over the world.

Katigora Kateryna Olegivna, as a member of the delegates team at the Oil,Gas and Nature Managmet Faculty PoltNTU participated in the 7th FUTURE PETROLEUM ENGENEERS FORUM (FPEF) (VII Forum of Future Young Engineers), held May 12-14, 2017 at the Chinese Petroleum University (Beijing) with  higher education institutions teams from 20 countries of the world. The forum is the result of an agreement on cooperation between the Chinese Higher Educational Establishment and PoltNTU, signed by the rector, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko during his official visit to the PRC. The main objectives of the  future young specialists meeting were: exchange of knowledge, discussion of innovative ideas, results and achievements in the diversity of fields of activity of the oil and gas industry, coordination of efforts in joint development.

FPEF included three contests - PetroCUP Contest, Paper Contest, Offshore Drilling Platform Design Competition. Our students took part in PetroCUP - competition and competition program on the design of drilling platforms on the shelf.

As a result of the competition the team received the  successful participant certificate.

Our delegation presented to our foreign partners Ukraine, its educational branch, acquainted the audience with our traditions and culture, represented the higher educational institution - Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University.

Disciplines “Chemistry”, “Chemistry of Oil and Oil Field Water”, “Phase Transformations of Hydrocarbon Raw Materials Theoretical Fundamentals” are taught in Russian and English.
