Department of automation and electric drive trains specialists:

  • level of higher education - bachelor of specialty - 141 "Electrical energetics, electronics and electrical engineering" (Specialization - "Electromechanical automation systems and electric drive");

Department locates in the auditory 314F, laboratories and computer classes - in buildings "A", "V" and "F" (002F, 015F, 016F, 017F, 212F, 401F, 410F, 313A)

The department has postgraduate study in specialty 05.13.07 "Automation of controlprocesses".

Department of Automation and Electric drive was founded in 1992 at the Department of Physics and Electric Poltava Civil Engineering Institute, together with the opening of the department of construction machinery and equipment specialty "Lifting, building, road, agricultural machines and equipment" was the basis for establishing electromechanical faculty.

Obtained a license to train students in "Automation of technological processes and industrial plants", which is accredited by the IV level.

In 1998, the Department has prepared the first specialist qualification "engineer-electrician" specialty "Automation of technological processes and industrial plants."

From 2000 Department prepares bachelors, specialists and masters in the educational fields of 0922 "Electromechanics" specialty "Electromechanical systems of automation and electric drive", and in 2011 the direction 6.050702 "Electromechanics" and specialties 7.05070204 and 8.05070204 industry knowledge 0507 "Electrical engineering."

At the Department opened postgraduate program in the specialty 05.13.07 "Automation of control." Under the graduate school prepared and defended 17 theses for the degree of Ph.D. (Kyslytsia S.G., Lisitsa M.P., Shefer A.V., Galay V.M., Skrylnyk O.A., Pugach M.V., Lisitsa P.N., Neluba D.N. and others).

Faculty regulations provide teaching courses in the departments: Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, correspondence, oil and gas and natural resources as well as the Center for Postgraduate Education.

From inception department was headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Nikolai Vasylyevich Galay. In December 2010 the department headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Sergey Viktorovich Kozelkov. Department of automation and electric drive is one of graduating departments in Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University. In 2011, the department has passed accreditation and direction and specialty licensing till 2021 got a license and certificate of accreditation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to continue provide educational services related to obtaining higher education qualification level according to requirements for Bachelor and Master (including foreign citizens).

Licensed volumes of admission for specialty - 141 "Electrical energetics, electronics and electrical engineering" (Specialization - "Electromechanical automation systems and electric drive"):

✓   level of higher education "Bachelor" - 125 people (full-time/part-time education),

✓   level of higher education "Master" - 60 people (full-time education).

 

All graduates competitive in the labor market, with real employment opportunities at leading domestic and foreign enterprises (organizations, institutions, firms, companies, etc.).

Concept of the department of education is based on the concept of Poltava National Technical Yuriy Kondratyuk University of training in the field of "Electrician" training "Electromechanical systems of automation and electric drive" of educational qualification levels of Bachelor, Specialist, Master of Quality Management Concepts and educational activities Poltava National Technical Yuriy Kondratyuk University.

Conception of the department envisages the following main objectives:

Aim of the research is to improve the technical and economic parameters of technological processes, the efficiency of machinery and equipment, reducing energy costs by developing new and improving existing automation systems, and training of highly qualified personnel for the department, academic institutions and industry.

Objects of research – machines, robots, work processes.

Subjects of investigation - mathematical models, methods and algorithms, automation systems.

The methods of objects stepped recognition by their physical properties; viscosity control softened quartz glass in the manufacture of quartz tubes for exhaust parameters of electric vehicles; compensation for the delay in obtaining current information on the state of the object based on the forecast models; diagnosis and prevention of pre modes of operation based on pattern recognition theory; high-level coding decisions in chromosomes when configuring fuzzy controllers; definition nonlinear static and linear dynamic models of unsteady component control objects. These and other methods and algorithms outlined in graduate Thesis, monographs, articles and essays published by graduate students and faculty staff.

The results of theoretical and experimental studies are developed and introduced into production, software and adaptive system of automatic process control quartz enrichment; recognition of the quality and classification of bulk minerals; manufacture low-noise amplifier microwave frequency signals; manufacturing HID lamps bulbs; manufacturing quartz sleeves and tubes of different diameters and others.

For scientific achievements at work on the theme "Adaptive manufacturing quartz tubes" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2012 Lisitsa Pavlo awarded a diploma.

Objects are studied and developed management system trajectory mobile machinery technology systems applying paint to the surface roads in their marking, etching molybdenum parts of complex shape for the cap discharge lamps, the optimal allocation of alternative sources of power supply for individual apartments, homes and small businesses, as well as the system of identification of aerodynamic coefficients aircraft during flight tests.

Since 2015 is working on the creation of intelligent robot control program RA 001 robot ARM, which will improve the teaching disciplines.

Commissioned projects carried automation, electrical power, lighting, communication lines, radios and lighting design. In the years 2013-2014 the specialists of the department conducted research and developed LED lamp type "Comfort - 1", which is implemented in production.

The novelty of technical developments protected by patents and copyright certificates for inventions. Testing of theoretical advances and automation tools developed annually performed at scientific conferences and symposiums. Every year the department holds conferences, round tables, scientific seminars. The research results are used in the classroom during the course and diploma design.

The department works closely with academic institutions NAS of Ukraine (Institute of Semiconductor Physics named after V Loshkarov) and universities of Ukraine (State University of Telecommunications). Agreements on scientific and technical cooperation between Poltava National Technical University and the above agencies provides practical training of students, professional development and training department staff, conducting joint scientific conferences, research and defense of dissertations in the specialized councils.

The department carried out work on the opening of specialized collection of research works "Control systems, navigation and communication", which is registered with the State Department of Print Registration at 19.11.2012 year.

The Department is actively vocational activities to attract foreign students to the specialty 141 "Electrical energetics, electronics and electrical engineering" levels of higher education "Bachelor" and "Master".

Faculty teaching subjects in a foreign language as an activity that promotes competitiveness and prospects of the learning process.

Promote research and development department at the international level. Research involves foreign universities and individual scientists, to use new technologies and modern equipment of research and solving urgent problems of production.

Signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Technology and Humanities city Radom, Poland, and in early 2015 signed additional agreements specialty: 141 "Electrical energetics, electronics and electrical engineering". Agreed candidate 301-ME student Vitali Voronin, who planned to study: master, postgraduate studies, specialty "Electrical energetics, electronics and electrical engineering".

The department of automation and electric drive have space and secured classrooms with total area of 497 m2,which fully meets the educational process of their own learning areas.

Modern equipment and appropriate mechanisms equipped with 7 laboratories were reliable base of scientific and industrial personnel to international standards:

  • laboratory of theoretical foundations of electrical engineering (aud. 002-F )
  • laboratory of electrical machines (aud. 015-F)
  • laboratory of electrical circuits (aud. 016-F)
  • laboratory of electrical apparatus and process measurements (aud. 401-F)
  • laboratory of automated electric robots and automatic machines (aud. 017-F)
  • laboratory of microprocessor devices and automation of manufacturing processes (aud. 212-F)
  • computer room (aud. 313-A), which is equipped with 12 computers,

All laboratories equipped with modern equipment that allows you to prepare competitive professionals. In the years 2013-2015 three classrooms fully renovated and equipped with multimedia equipment that improves the quality of teaching disciplines.

Some classes on introduction of modern automation in processes carried out in shops and factory laboratories JSC "Electric motor" and OJSC "Poltava factory HID lamps." At JSC "Poltava motor-aggregate plant" a branch of the department. Annual meeting visiting Examination Commission for the defending of master works in enterprises of Poltava.

The department is connected to a local area network university, which provides the possibility of any computer installed in the computer classes in the departments, the dean's offices or departments access to:
